Hello,

I tried to get back on track this week, and I managed to lose a pound. I’m not having to work as much overtime, so the stress level at work has subsided a bit. I felt pretty good overall. My energy level seemed a little higher, and I’ve been waking up feeling more rested.

The classes can meet in your group exercise room, or they can operate outside of the traditional club setting, with groups meeting in public parks and sports facilities. Moms Get Motivated to Work Out. Part 2

Time away. Moms, you love those cute little munchkins, but enough is enough, right? Good moms need a break. You can actually be a better mom if you get some time to yourself. Use the kids’ daddy time, swap with a neighbor, hire a teen you trust to baby-sit or check to se if your health club has a supervised children’s play area. Use your alone time to exercise. Moms Get Motivated to Work Out. Part 1

For years, it’s been my favorite line — Yeah, I work out, my washer and dryer are in the basement and all our bedrooms are on the top floor. After all, I’m busy with two preschoolers.

Before my first pregnancy, I did exercise a little. I took an aerobics class after work two evenings a week, and my husband and I enjoyed bike riding on some weekends, although we weren’t all that committed to regular exercise. Continue reading this entry »
